WoW Forever launch night: what happens on 4 November and how to follow it live
World of Warcraft Forever is Blizzard’s new, permanent version of classic WoW, long known by players as “Classic+”. Diplomaniac starts it on launch night, live, as an undead shadow priest at level 1.
What WoW Forever is
Blizzard announced WoW Forever at BlizzCon 2026. It keeps the core mechanics and look of the original 2004 game and adds new content on top: new zones, more than a thousand new quests and new dungeons. It is included with an active WoW subscription or game time.
When it launches
WoW Forever launches worldwide on 4 November 2026 at 3 pm Pacific time, which is midnight in Central Europe. Diplo goes live at 23:00 Vienna time on 4 November for launch night.
What comes after launch
Blizzard’s roadmap has the first three raids unlocking on 9 December 2026, with further raids, dungeons, zones and PvP season refreshes planned through spring and summer 2027.
How to follow the climb
The plan is simple: start at level 1, level the shadow priest, and take him all the way back to Rank 14, High Warlord. Follow twitch.tv/diplomaniac to watch it live, Thursday to Sunday after launch.
