Who is responsible

Kurt Reimann, Wien, Österreich, the@diplomaniac.com. Write to this address with any question about your data.

In short

• This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising.
• Fonts, scripts, images and videos are served from this website’s own server.
• The Twitch player loads only if you click “Show the stream player here”.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Bluehost (Newfold Digital, Inc., USA). When you visit, the server automatically records technical data: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website and to keep it secure (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). The data is not combined with other data and is deleted by the host after a limited period. Because the host is a US company, data may be processed in the USA.

Email

If you write to the@diplomaniac.com, your message and address are used only to answer you (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if it concerns an agreement). Email is also hosted by Bluehost. Messages are deleted when they are no longer needed.

Twitch player

The home page can show the Diplomaniac stream with the Twitch player from Twitch Interactive, Inc., USA. The player is not loaded when you open the page. It loads only after you click “Show the stream player here”. Then Twitch receives your IP address and other technical data, and may set cookies or similar storage on your device. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 165(3) TKG 2021). You can withdraw it at any time by reloading the page: the player is not loaded again until you click. For what Twitch does with your data, see the Twitch privacy notice.

Links to other sites

Links to Twitch, YouTube, Discord, Instagram, TikTok and X are plain links. Nothing is sent to these services until you click one. After that, their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, write to the@diplomaniac.com. You can also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Wien, dsb.gv.at.
